Dress It Up! From A to Z
Is a project working with low-income areas to set up two pop-up shops around the times of homecoming and Prom, where we will be giving away redesigned formal wear to young ladies. We will receive our pieces from donations and purchases from local thrift shops. We are working with three mentors to help us with marketing, designing, and public outreach. Our goals are to create clothing that is more accessible and sustainable for local communities with limited resources and access to formal wear. We look forward to working with different communities to change the idea that beauty in fashion does not rely on wealth but rather creativity and beauty within.

Our Mission
Our mission is to break down the image and stereotype of fashion that is only determined by luxury and expense. Like other forms, fashion is a form of self-expression meant to show the beauty within and should not be amounted to how much one has. With this project, we want to make every girl and young lady feel good in their skin and confident in their appearance. We want to make their special day a day to remember without breaking the bank and still make them feel like the beautiful person they are. Along with this, we wanted to achieve sustainability with sponsored and personal donations and funds; we can meet our goal in a way that is healthy and safe for our planet.
